Calley graduated Summa Cum Laude from the SUNY University at Albany with Bachelor of Arts degree in Documentary Studies with a Minor in Communications. This degree allowed her to focus in on multimedia with background of marketing communications. Previously she graduated Columbia Greene Community College with a High Honors Associate of Arts degree in Humanities.
She has taken many courses in still photography.
The dogs have been a great learning tool for her and practice has allowed her to master the profession of canine candid photography. Calley is always expanding her expertise as she takes on more and more breeds. Her love of photography and advertising has motivated her to start her own business. She takes and edits her own photography and does all the advertising design work on her own. She has worked with many of the dog advertising magazines for her clients including:
  • DN Magazine (Previously was Dog News)
  • Dogs In Review
  • Sighthound Review
  • Sight & Scent
  • ShowSight
  • The Beagle Quarterly
  • Claymore
  • The World of Deerhounds
  • Canadian Dog Fancier
  • The Ridgeback
  • American Dog Fancier
Two magazines she has worked with are for private dog clubs. The American Saluki Association's newsletter took Calley on as an advertising designer in 2015. She has worked with them until 2017 and learned many facets of working with a demanding cliental and maintaining the confidence of her manager. Currently, she is a member of American Whippet Club Annual Committee and works as an advertising designer for their yearly publication.
For three years after graduating from college, Calley took a job as a car washer for The Mercedes-Benz Center at the Keeler Motor Car Company. She quickly moved to be Keeler Motor Car Company's inventory photographer for the Honda, BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz, and Pre-Owned Center dealerships after 5 months of showing detail-oriented and hard work to the company. From there she raise the percentage of photographed cars from a 60% completed rate to a 90+% competition rate. This and showing off both loyalty and skill with her photography, she eventually got moved to a supervisor position over the inventory photography staff and made a Marketing Associate.
As a Marketing Associate she did professional sales photos of vehicles with a DSLR Camera used on marketing materials including an inside cover to the Saratoga Auto Auction's catalog and the back cover to the Hudson Valley Mercedes-Benz Club Newsletter.  She also was responsible for managing the social media sites for the multiple dealerships, taking employee photos, and photographing events.
After 3 years Calley thought it would be good to expend outside of what Keeler could offer her and took a job with Professional Insurance Agents Association (PIA) Northeast Design + Print team as a Marketing Account Manager. She currently works there as client liaison for a large assortment or marketing materials and needs.
